Finishing off a bathroom with individual objects, that add your personality and taste, is an enjoyable and relaxing end to the mess and hassle of your project. It is sometimes a disappointment that this part of the project can be left indefinately and not given any importance. Like good tiles it is necessary to spend the right amount of money to get good objects. Cheap accessories and bad art are not good investments, so choose wisely.

Mirror choices
Mirror choices are very good for bathroom use, if you include bespoke and to-order options. Bathroom standard range mirrors are more limited ,and can be tacky and small scale . Etched finishes can be interesting if kept simple. Bevelled glass is always stylish if used with framed edges. Integrated shelf options are useful if low level storage is limited.
HIB Mirrors . Rhoper Rhodes Mirrors . Ultra MirrorsLights and shaver sockets
Mirrors are also available with integrated lighting and shaver sockets. Bathroom ranges provide various options with striplighting and individual light types. Other light options are in my lighting section in step 24.
HIB MirrorsDe-mist pads for condensation problems
This is a useful option that does require elctrical connection but does solve a problem when there is excessive condensation (most bathrooms).
Pad 1 . pad 2Mirror radiators
An interesting and cute way to combine two large items ie a full length mirror and tall radiator. It can be expensive but hey!!
Acova Radiators . Radiator CompanyMirror cabinets
A neat way to hide a cabinet and have it where you need it. The choices are improving rapidly, luckily, I have left this item out often because I have hated the choices for too many years, unless using bespoke options.

Accessories
Rhoper Rhodes . John Lewis . HansgroheTowel rails
Normal towel rails are still a popular choice for bathrooms where there is a normal radiator that is being retained. Rails tend to be coordinated to match the accessory choices.
Hansgrohe rails . Vitra rails . Samuel Heath rails . Ultra rails . ZiggiZiggi railsImperial Bathrooms railsSoap holders
These can be either fixed to the wall or freestanding on your sink or worktop. Again these are normally co-ordinated to match other bathroom items as a set.
Bertocci . Hbb . Grohe . Bathroom Essentials . Nextag . Aqata . ImperialToilet roll holders
These are straight forward, again being freestanding or fixed. Available as matched sets or individual purchases.
Kholer . Bristan .John Sydney . Heritage . HansgroheToothbrush holders
A good alternative to a glass on the sink, but often bought and ignored.
Waste bins
A useful and often ignored item which ends up on the floor some where. These can be integrated into units if planned ahead, but there is always a limited choice of options for placing this item in small bathrooms.
WC cleaning brush
Available as wall hung or freestanding and can be a a bulky item that is better hidden unless combined with toilet roll holders.
Clothes baskets
Vipp . John Lewis. TwengaA large item that again can end up being ignored and stood in the corner if you do not plan ahead. It is an item I have integrated into fitted furniture but not very often.
Prints and paintings
I always think think that there is a place for art in any room (except a sauna ). So I have included art prints and paintings as a viable bathroom choice. I have always actively finished bathrooms with individual prints and objects to finish them off.

Ceramic art
Again if there is a shelf or worktop I will put art or ceramics on it. There is always the opportunity to add personal taste to any room when the designer as gone.

Venitian blinds
If it is necessary to gain privacy and add interest, then Venitian blinds are available in some interesting metal and colour choices, The micro options are favourite with modern bathrooms providing a more contemporary feel.
Tuiss . Luxaflex
Roman blinds
This is a more elegant and interior furnishing type option. The options are very good for style and fabric choices. The use of this solution is best left to larger bathrooms with good ventilation.

Soap and toiletries
This is a dressing item that adds colour and fragrance, and always seems to finish off a bathroom.
